Job Description

  • Lead the accurate and timely processing of high volume payrolls
  • Supervise and mentor team members
  • Manage payroll activities across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll, remuneration and industrial relations queries.
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and legislative requirements.
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations and reporting activities.
  • Maintain payroll records in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies



The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex, high-volume environment.
  • Ideally experience leading or supervising a payroll team, or in a senior role coaching and training others.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
  • Experience interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
