Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of network planning strategies.
  • Provide expert technical advice to support efficient and reliable network operations.
  • Analyse network performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align planning strategies.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the integration of renewable energy sources into the network.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal Engineer Network Planning should have:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in network planning within the Energy industry working for a DNSP, TNSP or consultancy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
