Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Principal to join their Perth-based finance team on a contract through to 30 June 2027.

Job Description

  • Support the preparation of half-year and annual external financial reports, including financial statements and accompanying disclosures.
  • Assist with group consolidation processes and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical accounting support, including accounting policy analysis and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Support finance projects relating to acquisitions, divestments, integration and separation activities.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support internal control and governance activities.
  • Contribute to finance systems, process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • CA/CPA qualified with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • 5-10 years' experience within financial reporting, group accounting or external reporting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/AASB reporting standards and consolidation principles.
  • Experience within large corporate or multinational organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical capabilities.
  • Resources sector experience and SAP/ERP exposure will be highly regarded.
