Job Description

  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and procurement terms.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on procurement activities and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and industry standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the procurement department across multiple categories.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Analyst should have:

  • A degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain operations within the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using analytical reporting (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Excel etc.) software.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
