Job Description

  • Configure and maintain Qualys vulnerability management activities across relevant cloud environments.
  • Run vulnerability scans and review results to identify security issues requiring attention.
  • Analyse vulnerability findings, validate risk information and help prioritise remediation actions.
  • Prepare clear vulnerability reports for technology stakeholders, outlining findings and remediation status.
  • Monitor cloud security posture through Qualys and identify areas requiring further investigation.
  • Work with technical teams to clarify vulnerability findings and support practical remediation planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of scans, findings and remediation progress to support ongoing visibility.
  • Review Qualys configuration and scan coverage to help keep vulnerability data current and useful.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Qualys Vulnerability Management & Cloud Security Engineer' should have:

  • Hands-on capability using Qualys for vulnerability management activities.
  • Experience reviewing vulnerability scan results and assessing security findings.
  • Knowledge of cloud security concepts and cloud security posture monitoring.
  • Ability to interpret technical vulnerability information and document clear findings.
  • Capability to prepare reports that support remediation planning and status tracking.
  • Experience working with technology teams to resolve identified security issues.
