Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOwn critical projects and drive improvements across the businessBlend logistics, analytics and stakeholder management in one roleAbout Our ClientAn organisation within the industrial and manufacturing sector based in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.Job Description* Own and coordinate the end-to-end sample production and logistics process* Manage inventory, forecasting, stock control and sample availability* Coordinate projects across multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines* Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Warehousing and external suppliers* Manage 3PL relationships, shipping schedules and sample deliveries* Monitor overseas shipments, containers, co-loading and freight movements* Maintain accurate inventory, shipment and project records* Analyse inventory and business data to support planning and decision making* Drive process improvements and streamline operational workflows* Troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions proactively* Influence stakeholders and negotiate outcomes across the business* Support systems improvements, implementations and continuous improvement initiatives* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and operational standards* Deliver a high level of project coordination, communication and stakeholder management* Take ownership of the function and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environmentThe Successful ApplicantA successful Sample Production Logistics Coordinator will have:* Experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, customer service or operations coordination within a manufacturing, industrial, wholesale or distribution environment* Proven ability to operate at a Supervisor or Team Leader level, demonstrating leadership without direct people management responsibility* Experience managing inventory, stock control, forecasting and planning activities* Exposure to 3PL management, warehousing, freight coordination, overseas shipping, containers and co-loading* Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Warehousing teams* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience identifying issues and implementing practical solutions* Proven experience driving process improvements, creating new workflows and delivering operational efficiencies* Highly resilient, organised and process-driven, with the confidence to take ownership and work autonomously* Experience working with inventory management, CRM or ERP systems* Salesforce experience is highly desirable* Exposure to Navision and project management platforms such as Monday.com will be advantageous* Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills* A continuous improvement mindset, with examples of successfully implementing change and improving business processesIdeal backgrounds include Supply Chain Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Inventory Controller, Operations Coordinator, Customer Service Team Leader, Project Coordinator, Procurement Coordinator or similar roles combining operational expertise, stakeholder management and process improvement experience.What's on OfferA salary of $70,000 AUD plus superannuation.Permanent position in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs in the industrial and manufacturing sector.Opportunities to contribute to efficient logistics operations.If this role aligns with your skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.ContactSteph HowardQuote job refJN-092026-7101553Phone number+61386166205Job summaryFunctionProcurement & Supply ChainSpecialisationLogisticsIndustryIndustrial / ManufacturingLocationEppingJob TypePermanentConsultant nameSteph HowardConsultant phone+61386166205Job ReferenceJN-092026-7101553
