About Our Client

Our client is a growing resources organisation with international operations and a strong focus on technology-enabled business transformation. Following significant planning and investment, they are now entering a pivotal phase of their SAP journey and are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to help drive the next stage of the program.

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end SAP RFP and vendor selection process
  • Facilitate workshops to gather business and technical requirements
  • Work with external consulting partners throughout procurement activities
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across finance, procurement and operations
  • Develop business cases, governance artefacts and executive presentations
  • Evaluate implementation partners and support commercial discussions
  • Establish project governance, risk management and reporting processes
  • Support the transition from vendor selection into implementation delivery

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience leading SAP RFPs and vendor selection processes
  • Strong SAP transformation and project delivery experience
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Finance and Procurement environments
  • Experience managing implementation partners and third-party vendors
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels
  • Able to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
  • Mining, resources, energy or heavy industry experience is highly regarded
