About Our Client

This position offers the opportunity to work within the transport and distribution industry, based in Horsley Park.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end injury management and claims processes in line with legislative and internal requirements
  • Implement early intervention strategies to support optimal claim outcomes
  • Facilitate safe, durable, and timely return-to-work programs
  • Assess, accept, or deny claims in accordance with SRC Act guidelines
  • Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and review medical reports to determine liability
  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders throughout the claims and rehabilitation process
  • Maintain accurate and compliant claim records within claims systems
  • Engage and manage rehabilitation and treatment providers
  • Support injured workers through legislative and administrative requirements
  • Ensure data integrity, accurate claim classification, and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior WorkCare Claims Management Consultant should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in workers' compensation claims management, preferably within the transport and distribution industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
