Job Description

  • Commission, install and configure advanced optical sorting equipment at customer sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown support and fault-finding activities
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and control system issues
  • Configure machine software, sensors and system parameters to optimise performance
  • Provide technical training and ongoing support to customers and site operators
  • Travel extensively throughout South East Queensland and broader regional locations
  • Support occasional interstate and New Zealand projects as required
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Service Engineer should have:

  • Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical, electrical and systems experience
  • Field service, maintenance or commissioning background within industrial equipment
  • Experience with automation, sensors, controls or process equipment highly regarded
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability across multiple disciplines
  • Comfortable working independently in customer-facing environments
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, with the ability to travel to New Zealand
