About Our Client

We are partnered with growing infrastructure engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Temporary Structures Lead to establish and grow its temporary works capability across major transport, rail, road, tunnelling, water and utilities projects throughout NSW.

Job Description

  • Lead the engineering delivery of temporary structure solutions for infrastructure related projects.
  • Help grow the business unit utilising your network and relationships with key stakeholders from industry.
  • Review project requirements and develop practical temporary works approaches for each stage of delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage design activities to maintain clear technical outputs.
  • Work with project stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and address design queries.
  • Identify constructability considerations and incorporate them into temporary works designs.
  • Monitor design progress, priorities and deliverables to support planned project timeframes.
  • Provide technical input on temporary structure options to inform project planning and delivery decisions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Temporary Structures Lead - Infrastructure' should have:

  • Experience delivering engineering work for temporary structures and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong reputation and relationships within industry to allow for business unit growth.
  • Strong capability in reviewing and preparing engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of temporary works design principles and constructability considerations.
  • Ability to interpret project requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Confidence working with project stakeholders to resolve technical queries.
