Job Description

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability aligns with business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise stock management processes.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to improve demand planning accuracy.
  • Identify and address inventory discrepancies or shortages promptly.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory performance and demand forecasts.
  • Support the procurement team in maintaining supplier relationships and order schedules.
  • Implement strategies to minimise overstock and reduce waste.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand Planner/Inventory Controller should have:

  • Experience in demand planning and inventory management within the distribution industry.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and using forecasting tools or software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
