About Our Client

An organisation operating within the chemicals, industrial and manufacturing sector, located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support supply chain operations.
  • Coordinate supply planning activities to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement and production schedules.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor and report on key supply chain performance metrics.
  • Implement strategies to optimise costs and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards in procurement and supply chain processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand & Supply Planner should have:

  • Experience in demand planning, supply planning or supply chain management, within the chemicals, industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools including SAP.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of compliance and industry standards in supply chain processes.
