Job Description

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems tailored for High voltage engineering applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Analyse project requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Conduct performance assessments and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Support project managers with technical insights and expertise as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Engineer for this role should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience within the High voltage engineering sector from a design perspective, either primary or secondary design.
  • Strong knowledge of energy and natural resources projects and systems.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for electrical design, such as AutoCAD, Cymcap, ETAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
