Our client is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to drive business growth and support strategic decision making.
  • Melbourne CBD | Permanent
  • $120,000 - $140,000 + super

About Our Client

Our client is in the manufacturing sector.

Job Description

  • Prepare and present monthly management reports, variance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Partner with internal leaders to provide commercial insights
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial planning cycles
  • Deliver cost analysis, including standard costing and margin/profitability reviews
  • Identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements

The Successful Applicant

  • CA/CPA qualified, or degree qualified with strong commercial experience
  • Prior experience as a Finance Analyst, Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant, ideally within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar operational environment
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) advantageous
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence non financial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
