Job Description

  • Analyse sales, revenue, margin and P&L performance across customers, products, branches and business units to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Drive customer profitability, product mix and brand performance analysis, providing recommendations to improve margin and revenue outcomes.
    • Monitor and report on key commercial and operational KPIs, ensuring performance aligns with business targets.
    • Partner with regional managers to deliver performance reviews, actionable insights and decision support.
    • Lead the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting packs and business intelligence tools to improve business visibility.
    • Evaluate pricing, rebates, promotions and revenue assurance activities to optimise profitability and revenue quality.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
    • Act as a trusted business partner across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, driving reporting improvements, automation and commercial performance initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Excellent scenario modelling capability, coupled with an ability to story tell behind the numbers
  • Proven experience partnering with non finance stakeholders
  • Strong experience with BI highly desirable
  • A willingness to 'roll up the sleeves' and deal with sometimes ambiguous, messy data
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling tools.
  • Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is a bonus
  • Genuinely compelling ability to communicate and influence decision making at a C-suite level
  • Leadership experience a bonus
