We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making within the pharmaceuticals industry. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to excel in a leadership position within the accounting and finance department.
  • Hybrid working arrangement (2/3 split)
  • $120,000-130,000 Excl. Superannuation

Job Description

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:

  • Coordinate month-end and year-end financial close processes
  • Oversee and review timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts each reporting period
  • Apply accounting standards and internal controls to maintain accurate and reliable financial reporting
  • Review and lodge GST and PAYG returns in collaboration with the Group Tax Accounting team
  • Lead statutory audit processes (internal and external) and liaise with external advisors
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities with operational leaders and the Senior Financial Controller
  • Analyse financial results and communicate reports across the organisation, with a focus on key KPIs
  • Assist with financial modelling for new business opportunities and strategic projects
  • Provide training and development for direct reports
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS
  • Understanding of monthly management reporting cycles
  • Knowledge of financial accounting processes and internal controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using an ERP
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across all management levels
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
  • Adaptable and flexible in a changing environment
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet KPIs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
