Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead ASX reporting requirements, including the preparation and review of Appendix 4D, annual and half-year financial reports, and supporting disclosures.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare and manage budgets effectively.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Proven experience in financial management within the retail industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
