Our client is a well-known freight and logistics client, who specialise in the rail and truck space. They have been in operation for over 50 years and have an exceptional record of delivering on time and with the highest level of customer care. This permanent role will offer 1 day work from home with additional flexibility offered.

Job Description

  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow and oversee financial risk management processes.
  • Collaborate with all business stakeholders, including C-suite.
  • Lead and mentor a small team.
  • Monitor and improve internal financial controls and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should be able to demonstrate:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
