About Our Client

Our client is a well-known logistics business, with their main operations being road and rail transportation of speciality goods. Located in Truganina, this role will help lead their Finance function and play a key role in team development. This role will be 4-days on-site and offer 1-day work from home flexibility.

Job Description

  • Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyse financial data to support decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  • Lead a team of 3.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Expertise in analysing financial data to provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional membership or certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly regarded.
