About Our Client

Our client is a well established construction and engineering firm that have a strong pipeline of public and private sector contracts. Located in Ravenhall, this position will have you working in a wider team of six and being very hands-on with day to day business operations. This role will be 4-days onsite and 1-day work from home.

Job Description

  • Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports to management.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with Tax, BAS, and audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Be accountable for weekly payroll.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction EBA's.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance to enhance financial performance and cost control.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager will be demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA or CA).
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Payroll experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
