Job Description

The Finance Officer will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including invoice matching, coding and supplier payments
  • Accounts Receivable management, including invoicing, cash allocation and account reconciliations
  • Proactive credit control and collection of outstanding debts
  • Investigation and resolution of account queries and discrepancies
  • Bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
  • Maintenance of accurate customer and supplier records
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting requirements
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes

The Successful Applicant

The successful Finance Officer will have:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Credit Officer position
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR and credit management processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to start at short notice and commit to a 6 month contract
