About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and growing West Australian resources organisation seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its corporate team based in Perth.

Job Description

  • Support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting, and compliance activities.
  • Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of financial data and reporting outputs.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across corporate and site-based teams to resolve financial and operational issues.
  • Support the administration and optimisation of financial systems and master data to ensure efficient business operations.
  • Assist with contract administration, governance, and financial risk management activities.
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards and legislation, ensuring the organisation remains compliant with relevant requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or working towards one).
  • Pronto ERP system experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
