Job Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for:

  • Manage the organisation's financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment across the organisation.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard company assets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong technical skills in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial forecasts effectively.
  • Experience in the life science industry is highly regarded.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks.
