Job Description

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and software solutions.
  • Design and build cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into technical outcomes.
  • Develop and support front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and programming languages.
  • Create, maintain, and optimise APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation of applications.
  • Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, and cloud governance standards.
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and team members where required.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in full stack software development across both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying applications in AWS environments.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of API development, integrations, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with database design, development, and performance optimisation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong focus on security, quality, and scalability.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
