Job Description

  • Provide excellent customer service and product advice to meet client needs.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Maintain and update client records and sales reports in the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Support internal teams with product knowledge and sales insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably within the steel manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to interpret engineering specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • An understanding of the industrial or manufacturing sector is highly regarded.
