An opportunity to join an ASX listed FinTech on a contractual basis. The role will commence immediately, and involve a wide-range of responsibilities across Investment Operations, tackling the processing and administration of unlisted investments.

Job Description

The Investment Operations specialist will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

  • Income & distributions: Reconcile incoming income, allocate it to client accounts, and follow up on outstanding distribution statements.
  • Managed funds: Process applications, redemptions and confirmations; monitor overdue trades; handle enquiries, exceptions and Term deposits & annuities
  • Manage and reconcile incoming financial transactions and ensure accurate allocation to relevant accounts.
  • Process investment-related transactions, including applications, withdrawals, confirmations and follow-ups.
  • Monitor outstanding transactions and resolve processing issues, discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Establish and maintain various investment products, including managing maturities, withdrawals and related administration.
  • Perform regular reconciliations across multiple asset classes and investment types.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries and provide timely operational support.
  • Assist with system enhancements, new functionality and the implementation of operational controls.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate procedures, process documentation and operational records.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed service standards and deadlines.
  • Support projects, process improvements and other operational initiatives as required.
  • Provide additional team support during periods of increased workload and undertake other duties as required.
  • lenger annuities, manage maturities and early withdrawals, and handle related enquiries.
  • Asset reconciliations: Reconcile ASX, international securities, managed funds and bonds.
  • Operational support: Respond to stakeholder enquiries and support system enhancements, operational controls, UAT, procedures and documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree Qualified
  • Experience in a similar role across investment operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability at short notice
