About Our Client

Our client is a global engineering organization known for delivering innovative products and solutions to customers around the world. As the business continues to invest in the development of its people, systems and training capability, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Learning Content & Systems Specialist to join the team on initially a six-month contract.Sitting within the Marketing team, this role will play a key part in bringing together technical content, training resources and stakeholder knowledge to create engaging and effective learning materials that support employees globally.

Job Description

This is a varied and hands-on project role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating information, engaging stakeholders and turning complex content into structured learning resources.

Working closely with subject matter experts across the business, you will gather, organise and maintain learning content while ensuring materials are uploaded and managed effectively within training systems. You'll be comfortable asking questions, identifying gaps, driving actions and keeping projects moving.Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the development and maintenance of learning and training content
  • Working with technical subject matter experts to gather information and documentation
  • Uploading and maintaining content within learning management systems
  • Reviewing existing content and identifying information gaps
  • Coordinating training materials, videos, presentations and supporting resources
  • Assisting with technical writing, content development and document creation
  • Managing stakeholders to ensure content is delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Conducting occasional site visits to capture information and training content
  • Supporting continuous improvement of learning programs and resources
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver engaging learning experiences



The Successful Applicant

This role will suit a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys bringing structure to information and working across multiple stakeholders.

  • Marketing or Communications



To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

  • Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms
  • Strong content coordination and project management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Ability to identify gaps, ask the right questions and drive outcomes



Highly regarded:

  • Experience creating learning content, presentations or training materials
  • Exposure to graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience working with video content and digital learning resources
  • Marketing or communications experience
  • Experience supporting change, training or capability programs



Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys taking ownership and finding solutions. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly organized and comfortable working with technical experts to extract information and transform it into engaging learning content. You'll be confident asking questions, identifying gaps, driving actions and ensuring projects keep moving forward.
