Hiring a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to support the maintenance, troubleshooting and airworthiness of rotary-wing aircraft. Working within a collaborative maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and compliance with CASA regulations.

Job Description

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and associated systems.
  • Certify maintenance activities in accordance with CASA Part 66, CAR30 and Part 145 requirements.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and/or avionics faults efficiently.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and support the release of aircraft to service.
  • Mentor AMEs and Apprentices through on-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with strict quality and safety standards.
  • Support domestic and international travel requirements for customer support and OEM training.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1.3 and/or B2).
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical and/or Avionics).
  • Experience maintaining rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Strong understanding of CASA regulations and airworthiness requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's licence and eligibility to obtain ASIC and passport.
  • AW109, AW139 or AW169 type ratings highly regarded.
