Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Optimise supply chain processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Implement compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Analyse data to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Oversee budget management and ensure alignment with financial targets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics and Distribution Group Leader should have:

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain management within the FMCG or food production industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
