Job Description

  • Coordinate import and export operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices and customs declarations.
  • Monitor shipments and liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents.
  • Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies in shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align logistics with overall supply chain strategies.
  • Track inventory levels and ensure accurate reporting for imported and exported goods.
  • Support cost optimisation by identifying opportunities for improving logistics processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Coordinator (Import & Export) should have:

  • Experience in managing import and export logistics, ideally in the FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
