About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the industrial services sector, supporting projects and events. Due to a busy period and increased operational demand, they are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a two-month temporary assignment. This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Job Description

In this role you will be working closely with an existing Coordinator, you will provide support across scheduling, customer service, administration and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating truck schedules for installations, collections and service runs
  • Managing customer enquiries and resolving service-related issues
  • Liaising with drivers, operations staff and customers to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Investigating site access issues and operational challenges
  • Cross-checking invoicing information against operational records
  • Conducting stock checks and maintaining inventory records
  • Assisting with rostering and timesheet administration
  • Maintaining accurate data and reporting across multiple systems
  • Providing general administrative support to the logistics function



The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a logistics, transport, scheduling or coordination position and be comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy operational environment.You will also possess:

  • Experience in transport, fleet, logistics or scheduling environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Confidence working with Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Understanding of transport operations, workplace safety or Chain of Responsibility requirements will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to inventory management, timesheets or rostering would be advantageous
  • Experience with logistics management systems is desirable but not essential
  • Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred.
