Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts including analysis of financial performance and key drivers
  • Manage month-end close processes including general ledger reconciliations, intercompany settlements, journal entries and financial adjustments
  • Partner with project managers to review project budgets, cost-to-complete forecasts, and financial performance
  • Provide financial insights to support operational efficiency and cost control initiatives
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for projects and operational activities
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts to support liquidity and working capital management
  • Conduct financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital investments and new business opportunities. Workplace Health & Safety

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Must have CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Around 5+ years' experience in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or FMCG environments
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Pronto or Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence non finance audiences
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Sound understanding of cost accounting, inventory management and operational finance.
