We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join a prominent Manufacturing business located in Port Melbourne. This role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making and drive business performance.
  • $125K - $135K + superannuation, pending experience.
  • Port Melbourne location.

They pride themselves on a hard working and inclusive culture that partner with the business effectively. This position will be 4-days on-site and 1 day work from home.

Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Assist in cost control and efficiency improvements across the organisation.
  • Support financial decision-making with detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as required to support strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant will be able to demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Reliable technical accounting skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and present insights clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
