Job Description

The Firm are seeking a candidate at Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager level with some variation in corresponding duties. At the core for any successful candidate will be:

  • A chance to manage and grow your own client portfolio, becoming a key point of contact and trusted advisor
  • Review financials, tax returns, and compliance work
  • Deliver high-level tax and business advisory services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior accountants
  • Oversee workflow, WIP, billing, and deadlines

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manager - Business Advisory should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional membership or certification (e.g., CA or CPA).
  • Experience in business advisory within public practice (5+ years as an ideal minimum)
  • Technical expertise across tax, CGT, GST, FBT & Div 7A
  • Proven ability to manage and nurture client relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
