Job Description



As the Payroll Systems Testing Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring payroll systems are tested, validated and optimised to support ongoing system enhancements, legislative compliance requirements and business transformation initiatives.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test scripts and test cases for payroll and HRIS systems
  • Execute system and user acceptance testing across payroll scenarios and configurations
  • Support the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) environment and related system enhancements
  • Ensure readiness and compliance for Pay Day Super and other payroll legislative changes
  • Identify, document and prioritise system defects and coordinate resolution activities
  • Work closely with Payroll, HR, Technology and Project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
  • Conduct exploratory testing and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain testing documentation, environments and governance frameworks
  • Support end-of-year payroll legislative changes and system updates
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across payroll processes and technology platforms

You are a detail-oriented payroll systems professional who thrives on solving complex problems and ensuring system accuracy. You combine technical capability with strong stakeholder engagement skills and enjoy working in fast-paced project environments.

  • Experience in payroll systems testing, payroll technology, quality assurance or payroll operations
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working within large, complex or regulated organisations highly regarded
