Job Description

  • Manage procurement activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and supplier agreements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify procurement needs.
  • Provide advice and support on procurement processes and best practices.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships effectively.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement & Contracts Officer should have:

  • Confident running or supporting tenders (RFQ/RFT)
  • Strong with documentation, reporting and compliance
  • Comfortable advising stakeholders and pushing back when needed
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with good time management
  • Positive, proactive and team-focused
  • Ideally has local government or regulated environment exposure
