About Our Client

Our client is a specialist automotive manufacturer delivering complex vehicle engineering, manufacturing and remanufacturing programs for the Australian market. Working exclusively within an automotive OEM environment, they combine world-class engineering standards with the agility of a highly collaborative local operation.

Job Description

  • Provide engineering support across vehicle build, launch and production activities.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues arising from production, quality and supply chain teams.
  • Support engineering change management, design releases, specifications and BOMs.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, concept development and future vehicle programs.
  • Assist with engineering deliverables, program timing and project requirements.
  • Support quality systems, engineering processes and documentation improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive engineering outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing or related Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, design or program engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering change control and configuration management.
  • Practical understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience working within structured quality systems.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Automotive industry experience preferred, vehicle electrical or software exposure highly regarded.
