As a medium-sized company, they are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for their clients and maintaining a strong reputation in their field.Job DescriptionPlan, execute, and deliver projects within the Oil and gas/Liquid fuels industry.Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project objectives.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Identify and resolve project-related issues to minimise delays or disruptions.Adhere to safety and compliance regulations throughout all project phases.Maintain detailed documentation for all project activities.The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Manager should have:Engineering background, preferably mechanical, chemical, process or similar.Client-side project management experience, ideally within oil and gas, terminals, bulk liquids, fuel, chemicals or hazardous storage environments.Strong front-end project development experience, including developing project options, preliminary feasibility studies, concept studies and early-stage engineering scopes.Experience preparing gate packs, business cases, capital approval documentation and supporting cost estimates.Ability to take projects from early concept through to FEED.Good understanding of tanks, piping, pumping systems, terminal infrastructure and associated safety / environmental requirements.Experience working within a gated project delivery process.Ability to manage consultants and engineering contractors to develop scopes, layouts, estimates, schedules and execution strategies.Commercially capable, with experience developing project budgets, risk-based contingency estimates and preliminary schedules.Strong understanding of project risk management risk reviews and constructability input.Ability to liaise with operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, safe, fit for purpose and operable.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations (power point) and recommendations for management.Comfortable working independently and driving project development work streams with limited supervision.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate plus super with immediate start available.Opportunity to work on significant projects within the oil and gas/liquid fuels sector.Collaborative and professional work environment.Temporary role offering flexibility and variety in responsibilities.Role can be based anywhere on East coast of Australia, with travel required to site in Brisbane.Please note - as this is a Contract position, only people with Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full working rights within Australia will be eligible for this position.If you are ready to take on this exciting role as a Project Manager, we encourage you to apply today!ContactPaul HarrisQuote job refJN-072026-7055349Phone number0421532876Job summaryFunctionMining, Energy & ResourcesSpecialisationEngineering - ChemicalIndustryEnergy & Natural ResourcesLocationPinkenbaJob TypeTemporaryConsultant namePaul HarrisConsultant phone0421532876Job ReferenceJN-072026-7055349
