Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
  • Oversee general ledger reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in financial operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA Qualification
  • Prior experience in a similar capacity within a large complex multinational experience
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
