Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Delivering monthly financial reporting and analysis
  • Managing statutory reporting, compliance, and tax obligations
  • Supporting lease accounting (IFRS 16)
  • Overseeing intercompany transactions across multiple entities
  • Managing payroll accounting (via a third-party provider)
  • Partnering with local and global stakeholders



The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • Experience managing month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
