About Our Client

A recognisable Australian brand, our client has a presence in both the Perth metro area and South-West of WA. Due to project growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its Management Accounting/Business Partnering function.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager and based out of their Bunbury offices, the key scope of this role includes:

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Provide insights on financial performance to stakeholders.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, including operations team.
  • Dealing with site and WIP accounting.
  • People leadership of 1 x Assistant Accountant.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following traits:

  • CA/CPA Qualified (desired).
  • Prior experience working within a projects-based or operational environment.
  • Exposure to budgeting & forecasting.
  • People leadership/mentorship exposure.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (site based).
