Our client is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Technology Consultant to lead the technical delivery and migration strategy for a large-scale unstructured data migration program. This high-profile role will focus on driving the successful migration of Shared Mailboxes, SharePoint Online, Shared Drives, and Power Platform solutions into a modern Microsoft 365 environment.

Job Description

  • Lead technical assessments, solution design, and migration strategy across all UDM workstreams.
  • Coordinate migration waves, cutover planning, readiness assessments, validation, and hypercare activities.
  • Manage technical dependencies, risks, assumptions, and remediation actions across the program.
  • Facilitate workshops with business owners, architects, security, operations, and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate technical SMEs and migration vendors to resolve delivery blockers and support execution.
  • Support governance forums, executive reporting, design approvals, and operational handover activities.
  • Lead analysis of Shared Drive data to determine ownership, migration readiness, business dependencies, and target-state requirements.
  • Develop migration and remediation recommendations for Shared Drive content, including data rationalisation, permissions, security considerations, and migration wave planning.
  • Drive business engagement and sign-off activities relating to Shared Drive scope, data quality, ownership, and migration outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Modern Workplace Technology Solution should have:

  • 10+ years' experience in technology consulting, solution delivery, or enterprise migration programs.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including:
    • Exchange Online / Shared Mailboxes
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive and Teams
  • Experience delivering enterprise migration, collaboration, or data migration initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and governance management skills.
  • Experience managing technical risks, dependencies, and delivery planning.
  • Strong understanding of migration methodologies, cutover planning, and operational handover processes.
  • Experience managing complex technical dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership teams.
