Job Description

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of full-stack features, from design and architecture through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
  • Build modern customer-facing applications using TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS, balancing scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
  • Develop secure, well-designed APIs and backend services that power core platform functionality and support future growth.
  • Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (SST/Pulumi), with hands-on responsibility across AWS services including IAM, VPCs, ECS/Fargate, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
  • Improve engineering productivity by contributing to CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, developer tooling, and operational excellence.
  • Work confidently across both greenfield projects and existing production systems, making thoughtful decisions that improve code quality without over-engineering.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, participate in on-call responsibilities, and help build reliable, observable systems.
  • Partner closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • For senior engineers, provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and raising engineering standards across the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Software Engineer should have:

    • TypeScript
    • React
    • AWS
    • PostgreSQL
    • Infrastructure as Code (SST or Pulumi preferred)
    • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
    • ORM frameworks (Prisma preferred)
    • Testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest
  • Python experience for automation and CI/CD scripting
  • Experience building and maintaining production systems
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
  • Full-stack development capability



Nice to Have

  • Next.js experience
  • Supabase ecosystem familiarity
  • SST experience
  • Go or Deno experience
  • Experience provisioning AWS environments from scratch
  • Monorepo experience (especially Turborepo)
  • Startup or high-growth company experience
