Job Description

  • Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.
  • Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS and environmental standards.
  • Manage production planning and execution to meet customer demand and service requirements.
  • Develop, coach and lead production teams to maximise performance and engagement.
  • Monitor plant efficiency, identify improvement opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Manage operational budgets, labour utilisation and site costs.
  • Lead capital projects and site improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production performance and customer outcomes.
  • Track and report on key operational KPIs

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a Site Manager, Plant Manager or Production Manager role.
  • Strong background within process manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing or related environments.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Results-driven with strong commercial and operational acumen.
