Job Description

  • Provide technical leadership across distribution network projects.
  • Lead the delivery and review of overhead and underground designs.
  • Support projects from concept design through to construction.
  • Act as a technical SME across utility and contestable works projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant utility standards and industry regulations.
  • Mentor and support engineers and designers within the team.
  • Build strong relationships with utilities, clients and project stakeholders.
  • Drive high-quality, practical and cost-effective engineering outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Lead - Distribution should have:

  • A strong background in power engineering within the energy sector.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Expertise in process optimisation and project management.
  • Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
