About Our Client

This role is within the Food Manufacturing industry and is located in Underwood QLD. The client is a rapidly growing food manufacturer, working with all the major retailers in Australia.

Job Description

    • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient storage and distribution of products.
    • Manage and develop a small but high-performing warehouse team through coaching, training and leadership.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock control and FIFO/FEFO processes.
    • Oversee 3PL partners and cold storage providers to ensure service and performance standards are met.
    • Ensure DIFOT and customer service targets are achieved across key retail and trade accounts.
    • Manage warehouse, transport and labour costs within approved budgets.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and optimise resources.
    • Negotiate and manage carrier, contractor and supplier relationships to deliver best value outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP and WHS requirements.
    • Take ownership of site facilities, equipment, maintenance, security and emergency response activities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and their application in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and related software.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
