This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a Perth‑based construction and insurance services business. You'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while contributing to ongoing improvements and automation initiatives across the finance function.

About Our Client

Our client operates in the construction and insurance services sector, delivering building repair and reinstatement work following insured events. With a strong presence across Western Australia and expanding nationally.

Job Description

  • Undertake month end processes
  • WIP analysis and reporting
  • Undertake tax compliance (BAS, payroll tax, FBT)
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Involvement in automation project
  • Identify opportunities to improve and document processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

  • A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completed/Progressing through CA/CPA Qualification
  • Around 4+ years' experience in a professional accounting environment
  • Comfortable with MYOB or similar ERP systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience within the property industry is highly regarded but not essential
