Job Description

The Accounts Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and issuing accurate invoices and cost estimates
  • Validating pricing, quantities and data prior to invoicing
  • Processing sales orders and updating internal systems
  • Performing regular reconciliations and data checks
  • Investigating and resolving invoicing discrepancies
  • Maintaining high accuracy across large data sets and spreadsheets
  • Using Excel to interrogate and validate financial and operational data
  • Responding to customer queries related to invoices and charges
  • Liaising with internal teams to confirm information and resolve issues
  • Supporting reporting, compliance and audit requirements

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Administrator will have:

  • Proven experience in accounts administration and invoicing
  • Experience in high‑volume or complex invoicing environments
  • Exposure to costings, margin analysis or pricing models
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, data validation, spreadsheets)
  • Experience checking, reconciling and correcting financial data
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working across multiple systems and databases
  • A proactive, reliable and methodical working style
