Job Description

Bookkeeping & Compliance

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
  • Payroll calculations and processing
  • BAS preparation and lodgement (monthly and quarterly)
  • Preparation of management reports including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
  • Journal entries
  • Asset register maintenance



Advisory & Client Support

  • Assist with payroll audits
  • Support Xero conversions and software implementations
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Work collaboratively with local and offshore team members to ensure timely delivery of client work

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A bookkeeping qualification or be currently studying towards one
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a bookkeeping role within a public practice environment
  • Experience preparing BAS, payroll, P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet reports
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and MYOB
  • Experience with software such as Hubdoc, Deputy, Asana or similar (advantageous)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
