Job Description

  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve procurement goals.
  • Manage tender processes and supply decisions
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and objectives.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Specialist should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an end-to-end procurement role, particularly with the management of tenders, and post-award contract management
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Knowledge of supplier relationship management and procurement best practices.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
